Staten Island Criminal Court

The Staten Island Criminal Court handles a wide variety of criminal matters; everything from misdemeanor, felony or even a violation. The various types of crimes can include DWI to Sex Crime to Reckless Driving or even Murder cases. This Court will handle misdemeanor matters from Arraignment to trial and sentencing. Felony cases are handled in the Criminal Court up to the indictment phase and then are moved on to the Supreme Court. Parking: There is a public parking lot at the corner of Hyatt Street and St. Mark's Place (one block north of the courthouse).

Directions: The courthouse building is across the street from the Ferry Terminal. If traveling by car, take the Staten Island Expressway to Lily Pond/Bay Street exit. Continue on Bay Street for about two miles to the Ferry Terminal.

Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. excluding holidays. The court is also open on weekends-opening at 9:00 a.m. and closing at the end of business.

Parking: There is a private parking lot on Targee Street north of the courthouse.

Public Transportation:

From the Ferry Terminal take bus S74 to Broad Street & Gordon Street; or take the S78 Bus to Broad Street and Thompkins Avenue. The criminal building is located 4 blocks from either bus stop.
